Our venue is Holy Trinity Parish Hall, Grimsby Road, Cleethorpes, DN35 7LH, adjacent to Corpus Christi Church.
Our speaker is Ruairidh Greig, who will be talking about “The Plough Plays of Lincolnshire”. This is a look at the story and social aspects of the medieval to early modern plough plays, also known as “Wooing Plays” in parts of the East Midlands.
Parking is available in front of the hall and the adjacent church. Visitors are very welcome, entry fee £3 on the night.
