Our next meeting is on Tuesday January 20th at 7.15. Our speaker is Chris Caswell from Reclaim Heritage. The title of his talk is 'Beneath the Lawn', which is an exploration of a ground penetrating radar survey of the lawns at Lincoln Castle. It promises to be a very interesting evening. We look forward to seeing you.
As promised here are the new details for the finds sorting session at Immingham Museum. The revised date is Thursday 22.1.26 from 1.30pm.
T his is to confirm that the Finds sessions planned for November and December 2025 at OBP, are now cancelled. These sessions were to help catalogue, assess and record the finds from the “Dig” held at the rear of 17-21 Bethlehem Street, Grimsby in 2024. Extensive building work is going on at OBP, and this prevents us from working there just now. Thanks to all who expressed an interest in taking part. We will let all Society members know through email and the website when we can schedule some more dates. Regards David Robinson
