Society Treasurer Retires

David and the Committee would like to give a massive thank you to Jan who at the last AGM relinquished the role of Society Treasurer after 17, (yes 17!) years.
I think it’s fair to say that she is happy to have now handed the Treasurer job over to Mike. Very many thanks to Jan for all her work over such a long time, and to Mike for taking the job on.
On behalf of the Society, the Committee gave Jan a fabulous bouquet as well as a copy of “The History of the World in 100 Objects” by Neil MacGregor, to mark her retirement - although she’s still Membership Secretary.
Being Jan she’s happier for you to see a picture of the gifts rather than of her!
